Alfama Tailor Made Green House With a View

The apartment was just as described and afforded plenty of space for two people. We enjoyed the comfort of good light in all the rooms, separate rooms for relaxing and preparing food and a good bathroom with a window. We appreciated the speedy response from Miguel when we had a problem. This was resolved within a day.

The property was in an excellent location , was very roomy.

No air- conditioning for night sleeping

The apartment is very cozy and functional, in a great localization in the heart of Alfama. Many main attractions of Lisbon are 5-20 min walk from the flat. The owner is super kind and helpful, and he quickly responds to all questions. We really enyojed our stay.

Beautiful , perfectly located old apartament, very clean and well equipped. Tram 28 just downstairs, as well as shops and restaurants. Very nice and helpful owner. 10/10!

Location was perfect and apartment had everything we needed. We stayed for 4 nights and it was very helpful to have a washing machine and kitchen to cook meals. My children also enjoyed the space and the very comfy sofa bed. Gill who handed over the keys was also super helpful and friendly. He was kind enough to also send more info on restaurants and good places to visit to us. Apartment was very clean which we appreciated.

If you struggle with tram / bus noises you might find it a bit noisy if the window is open but we did not find it a problem.

It was near everything: souvenirs stores, markets, restaurants, bars and different attractions, also the metro stop was in fron of the apartment. Person in charge (Gil)was really helpful and available to answer all questions.

Stairs inside the building didn't have lights, we needed to use our phones during the night to walk the corridor and stairs.

Terrific location and views. It was spacious and the building had charm in a good location in Alfama. We could walk to most places we wanted to see and Ubers were cheaper than public transport.

I thought it was quite expensive given we had to buy garbage bags and toilet paper etc. it was noisy early from the number 28 tram passing the bedroom window. Most of the crockery was quite chipped.

Location is good, very strategic where you can find easily, within walking distance to the mini markets, restaurants, souvenir shops, tram stop just infront of the apartment, and also the Castelo de St. Jorge as well as Lisbon Cathedral. Since we arrived very early, the host suggested us to use LUGGit so that we could walk free without our luggages before the check-in. He even gave us a bottle of wine. We used a lot trams no. 28E/12E to retun from city center. Will definitely come back again to this area in the future. There is this restaurant in Alfama called Restaurante Farol de Santa Luzia which serves delicious food, strongly recommend it.

We had only 1 roll of toilet paper for 4 people for 4 days. A cup would be great to put our tooth brushes. The left side of the double bed was sinking (please check). No sponge and detergent to wash the dishes and we found some dishes inside the cupboard were very dirty.

Location was excellent, apartment was well-equipped and comfortable. Tomás was very responsive and pleasant to deal with.
