Advocate Arms Hotel

The Advocate was a comfortable and clean place to stay. The restaurant was nice for breakfast and we had one nice evening meal there as well. Staff were very friendly and efficient.

Friendly staff great food will stay again

There is a very small revolving door for the main entrance, which is very cute but a pain is you have luggage. The room was spacious and the bathroom great. However the bed was very soft and there was a lot of noise from the kitchen fan and the fridge units. The refrigeration unit went on and off all through the night. So would not recommend room 6 We had a very pleasant evening meal which was two delicious pies. Would recommend

Hotel itself was nice , staff very polite & friendly.Room was a nice size but not a fan of fluffy & out dated carpet in our room ( couple we traveled with had wood floor, much better room ) bathroom door sticking/ jamming on floor ( only open halfway) and old bathpanel coming to bits

We have stayed here several times over the last few years, the staff are very friendly and we enjoy eating in the restaurant with our friends

The hotel was ideal for our walks what we did. Very friendly staff. Would definitely go back there.

Very poor quality room and service

What a great find. Good bar, restaurant to go with a very comfortable and clean room with good facilities. Highly recommend and will stay here again on my next visit to friends.

The hotel was fine for a few days stay. The breakfast was great and the staff were friendly. The bed was comfortable too. It was a shame that some staff (and/or guests) smoke right outside the rooms/the dining area and the window is open, so in the morning that is what you can smell.
