check in was not good as the hotel had allocated an inferior room for us as they had not had clear instructions from expedia regarding our booking

Lovely hotel with great food.

Decor of room & facilities where 1st class - staff & service were great - breakfast choice & quality outstanding

Staff were nice and very friendly. Price was excellent and room very comfortable.

The hotel was very clean and I felt safe there with regards to Covid 19. The staff kept to the distancing rules and there was hand sanitizer around the building. I loved the organic herbal and fruit tea left in the room with the tea and coffee making facilities. We had a lovely evening meal and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The only downside was that we had a room facing the road which was noisy and that is why I have not given it 5 stars.

Nothing was to much trouble food and service was brilliant will be back. Thanks again 👏👏👏🍻👍

Great food and clean rooms

The first thing I have to mention is the food, for a small hotel in a small market town, the food here is excellent. it's presented in a wonderful manner both on the the plate and by the great staff. their attention to the Covid situation makes you feel very safe, they have thought of everything and everyone. if was to mention anything it would be that the communal areas of the residential part are looking a bit dated

Visited the hotel whilst staying away on business. Arrived at 20:55 after a long day. There is a small car park (only 4 cars), and was able to get a space, however 2 public car parks also available within 100 meters. Was greeted at the small reception area by a friendly member of the hotel staff, who quickly checked me in and escorted me to the room, showing me where everything was (nice touch). I enquired about dinner for the evening and they said the restaurant stops taking orders at 9pm, but said fitting me in would be no problem. So was brought a menu to order from whilst I was settling in the room. Food was great (a la carte menu) with friendly and attentive staff. Hotel room was spacious, clean and finished both with fittings and bedding to a high standard. Did not have breakfast, but check out was quick and easy as the bill had already been printed. Would definitely recommend this hotel for both business and leisure purposes.
