Advocate Arms Hotel

Lovely hotel and staff were pleasant. Rooms were lovely but unfortunately the shower in the bathroom was terrible! No pressure,water dribbled out and was either hot or cold. Lets the property down and until this is rectified we would not stay here again.

Very good stay. Excellent value for money. Comfortable bed and quiet position even though in the middle of the town. Great good value restaurant. Only thing was no chair in the room to sit with your cup of tea.

We had a lovely night stay here. We arrive just before 2pm but this wasn't a problem as our room was already ready. We were met by a lovely member of staff who checked us and then showed us to our room. She gave us a quick tour, telling us where everything was and how the lighting worked ect. The bed was very comfy and the room itself was very well decorated and clean. We found a fan in the wardrobe which was very much needed as it was a muggy day. We had a room on the front of the hotel but we barely heard any noise from outside on the main road. We didnt stay for breakfast but i have past experience of eating here and the food is always lovely! I would highly recommend a stay here!!
