Hawthorn Extended Stay by Wyndham Jackson

Hotel inside and out needs renovations. The staff are friendly and efficient. The pet friendly policy is a life saver and much appreciated. A good high sign outside to mark the hotel would be a big help in finding the place.

Nothing to like. Should not be open to the public. Expedia should not have this listing available to their customers. I question Expedia’s integrity.

Checked out 20 minutes after arriving. Room - and hotel in general - was dirty & smelled of mildew/mold.

Ceiling stained, cracked, large hole plastered at bathroom light switch, dead bug on iron holder, plastic bag on smoke detector, the automatic door closet arm is broken, the TV was not plugged in and tv remote doesn't work. We'll not stay here again.

The rooms were minimally presentable...carpet worn and dirty throughout. Right next to our room door hung plastic sheets blocking off the remainder of the hallway and unfortunately also the closet exit in case of fire. Staff were sullen and certainly not welcoming

Convenient stop from Lexington, Ky to Louisiana.

Property was being remodeled. Room had not been remodeled. Hole/leak in ceiling above shower leaving dirty tub. Other water damage on ceiling throughout. Staff not helpful. Restroom off lobby was not working/open. Asked for room change but one note available. I may have been only room occupied on the second floor. Expedia should have been notified which rooms were available.

Property is remodeling though they don’t tell you before reservation. Though non-smoking hotel, smells like smoke throughout. Property is falling apart. Doesn’t help that during checking in get surrounded by 6 police officers looking for a guy who stole a car. Filthy and disgusting though employees are nice and apologetic

This place is a dump. From the drug deals going on in the parking lot to the unsanitary rooms, we agree with others that it should be demolished. And to think they asked me to pay for 2 rooms because I had 3 dogs. Are you kidding me? My dogs have stayed in kennels cleaner than this place. We checked out after seeing the filthy conditions with ceiling paint falling down on the beds. The elevator barely works. How can it have an occupancy permit? My husband was so concerned about our safety that he said we could rent a car…when I asked why since our car was fine, he said because ours will be stolen or stripped by morning. I complained to Corporate but have yet to hear back. That was only after asking for a refund, where I was told by the hotel manager that Corporate had to approve. Not true. Do yourself a favor and stay at the Hampton Inn in the next town.

The hotel is in very poor conditions, the pictures from the web are not as it is in reality, would not stay there ever again. Carpet very dirty, water leaking, broken drawers and so on
