Expedia continually rejects my reviews. Maybe if all I say is 'don't'

Save your time and money. This sub par La Quinta should be disassociated with the Wyndham brand for the worst overall experience I’ve ever endured at a hotel, needless to say a La Quinta

If they are remodeling when are they going to start? We had just traveled about 11 hours and were very tired and this is what came into. The carpet is very dirty-looking and stained down the hallways & in the rooms. There were a couple of cockroaches roaming around the doorway to the room. Water trickling in the bathtub all night long. Doors on a couple of rooms that I looked into the paint was peeling off. The reason I saw two rooms I was placed on the first floor by my request but it only had one bed, not the two beds that I asked for, I had to be placed on the second floor in order to get the 2 beds. Shortly after we got settled in our room I got a text on my phone from the hotel stating if we needed anything to text back and the staff would assist me on our needs. The staff was very helpful in getting us settled in but when we needed more towels I texted the hotel and I had to go down to the front desk to get the towels. I found out the reason for the text messages was that the phones in the rooms were dead and didn't work. I thought LaQuinta Inns were 3 to 4-star hotels but NOT this one. We WERE going to stay another night on our way back home but I'm not going to stay at that dump. From a La Quinta silver member #PO18317557

Room phone was not functioning. Reported to the front desk. Nobody took action. The ceiling of the roof had hanging coats. Extremely worn out, old carpets in the room. Awful smell everywhere. Table lamp without lamp. Whole night there was dipping sound in the room. Ceiling had water spot. Overall bad look and feel. I do not recommend this venue for anyone to stay.

The room we were given was TERRIBLE. Obviously at some point there was water damage as the bathroom floor and tub was "spongy" and behind the toilet the wall was black. The tub streamed hot water constantly leaving a green stain and loads of black gunk came out under the bath mat when the shower was turned on. There was a pervasive musty/mildew smell. The door latch was broken off and there was extensive door damage (scratches from a large dog?) on both the exterior door and bathroom door.

Very dirty and poorly maintained.

The LaQuenta in Jackson Tenn was absolutely the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and I will certainly tell all family and Friends NOT to ever reserve a room in Jackson Tenn. The health department should Shutdown that hotel. The hotel is Fifty, enfested with roaches and bugs, unclean rooms, and all carpets are heavily stained and smelled awful.

They were remodeling the building. They only had 3 rooms and they were onthe 3rd floor.

This hotel is under renovation. My room had the nastiest carpet I have ever seen. Paint peeling off the door. The non-slip mat in the tub was half unglued. This room should NOT be rented until renovation is complete. That migh be true of the whole hotel.

I've stayed in a few LaQuinta's over the years and know its not the best hotel chain but this place was terrible. Our room had a musty/mold smell that made my traveling companion's allergies flare. The bathroom was atrocious--boggy floor in tub and around toilet, big crack in the ceiling, tub surround pulling away from the wall, water streaming from tub faucet leaving green stain and when shower turned out black gunk came out from under bath mat. The door latch was broken and doors had damage at waist level. The room should have NEVER been rented out in that condition. Unsafe and possibly toxic.
