New outside, coffee/tea was available 24/7, pool area was relaxing, kind customer service

Inside rooms could use some updates, potholes in the parking lot, basic breakfast - things were fine

Traveling with 2 dogs and put on the 3rd floor. Yes, I could have requested 1st floor, but staff should have more sense. TV in room did not work. I asked at the desk and was told someone would call or come up to the room. Neither happened. Bedding had very noticeable stains, and we even turned one so at least the stains were at the foot of the bed. If the stains don't come out - the linens should be replaced! For a "dog-friendly" hotel, there was nowhere to really walk or relieve them on the grounds - no "potty station" to dispose of their waste - nothing. We were put in an adjoining room - with no TV, we could hear every conversation going on next door - and let me tell you - what we heard from our neighbors ranged from unpleasant to downright scary! Never received a receipt for final charges - not on paper, email, or text. Not a great place to stay - not that LaQuinta has ever been first on my list. Will never choose LaQuinta again based on the conditions at the Stevens Point location.

Would charge $25 to check in a little early. Ridiculous if rooms were already cleaned, police came for a problem and we had wanted to use the pool with our granddaughter. Lady at desk was unpleasant
