Granville Island Hotel

Great location not too far from the airport. Great spot for getting around on the little ferries at false creek.

It was a bit expensive

Noise in water pipes beside room was irritating, it started very early in the morning which caused a very restless sleep.

We arrived in Vancouver in the afternoon and had to leave early for Kelowna the next morning, so we were planning to visit Granville Island. That's when we found this hotel, and we ended up having an exceptionally comfortable night with our two dogs. The nearby park was wonderful for walks, and the distance to the Public Market was perfect. The bed was also very comfortable.

However, since our room was right in front of the elevator, it got quite noisy during peak times when people were moving around. Other than that, we were thoroughly satisfied overall. Thank you!

Location was good for our sightseeing plans. Staff (Omar) was friendly and helpful - redeeming quality of this hotel. Restaurant was good also.

Clean, but dated furnishings. Sauna and jacuzzi available but also very dated. Duct tape holding some door pieces together in common area and when upstairs near the sauna looked down on a bunch of old junk in the center of the hotel. Hotel not represented as advertised. I paid for a balcony upgrade and the balcony was a foot wide with old furniture and broken up concrete. We did not use it. Coffee maker not working right. Needed to have staff come up to find out why TV wouldn’t turn on, few channels.
