Amazing!!

Spacious & comfortable room. The only downside is they have fine grade sandpaper in lieu of toilet paper.

Upon arrival 12:30 pm hotel was not ready. We understood a 4 pm check-in but thought we notify the front desk that we were here. They would call us or text when room was ready. No text no call. Went to lunch, walk town and return to hotel 3:45pm. Room still not ready. By thus time shortly after 4 a number of guests arrived and we’re getting rooms. I stood in line again, but was told my room was not ready again. Mind you it a standard room with king bed and balcony. I told them I would be sitting in the lobby. They will come get me as soon as the room is ready. An hour has now passed and nothing. I finally stood up and the receptionist coming from the dining room, says, OH, you’re still waiting, no one has come to get you. Finally checked in. Exhausted, go to dinner, only to have all the electricity shut off in the entire town. Back to the hotel, no electricity, not sure when it’s due back up. Go to sleep, wake up no electricity still, nothing’s working. No hot water, no lights, no ac, dark room. Go on Hike in hopes of it turning back on. Nothing, decided to check out and go home. Can’t charge room for one night so sending us bill. Pray it’s for one night and not the three nights booked through Hotels.com Nightmare!

The fact that the power was out for such a long period of time was not okay. It was the day of my aunts wedding and we could not get ready. I understand that the circumstances were not the hotels fault but they are plenty capable of having a back up generator, the chain makes plenty of money each night.

Wonderful mountain town, it's great restaurants as well.

Tried to charge me $20 to part my car. I objected, they told me to read fine print on listing and if you clicked more about property it was there. I’ve stayed there 3 times before and this wasn’t charged but will check other hotels in the future. Listing said pay this amount and no more. False advertising

Everything was very clean and breakfast was good with plenty of options. Check in was 4 and the event we were attending in Big Bear was also at 4. No early check in is available so we had to change for the event elsewhere.

Great Little Boutique Hotel in Big Bear! We had a really nice stay at this boutique hotel in Big Bear. The vibe is super cozy and chill, with cool rustic touches that make it feel homey but still stylish. One of my favorite things was the walking path right behind the hotel, surrounded by tall pine trees it made for a peaceful way to start the day. The room was clean and comfy, with everything I needed. The free breakfast was a nice bonus and really convenient before heading out to explore. Plus, the staff was friendly and helpful, which always makes a difference. The location is perfect—close enough to town but still quiet and relaxing. If you’re looking for a laid-back spot with good vibes and a bit of nature right outside your door, I’d definitely recommend this place!
