Hampton Inn Pittsburgh-Monroeville

Staff was great and room and common areas were clean and well lit.

Maintenance of room and common areas was sub par. Doors fit poorly and were not planed smooth, elevator interior was very beat up, in my room 302 blocks of drywall were used as spacers for the bathroom doorstop, furniture was missing trim exposing portions of particle board. Not what you would expect from a $200+ per night room.

The room rates were insanely high. I’m certain it was due to the AACA Eastern Nationals at Hershey, but it’s criminal to have to pay that much for a Hampton Inn

Location, Location, Location- this one is not for you unless you enjoy traffic noice from turnpike and highways. Rude staff just an added bonus! Location is surrounded by turnpike and highways very very loud! Some staff were rude and did not care to help. The front desk lady was nice but, her coworker was not. It’s an older hotel that needs maintenance. Also, they do not clean your room until you are there for 3 days. They do not restock rooms or even make beds. If you need anything you have to ask for it and pick it up yourself. It’s like you work for them. You are only allotted 1 coffee person and if you ask the max is 3 per room!. You have to ask each day for coffee, towels and anything else you might need. We will never stay at this location ever again! It’s a terrible place to stay. Except for the one front desk.

Hair dryer was broken, was in a handicapped accessible room(didnt request ) and when i used the shower the entire bathroom floor got wet, making the carpet outside the bathroom damp

Door to our room needs adjustment room 807 had to use force to open and close

The room was clean. The bed was very comfortable.

Clean room,good breakfast{ and Plenty } friendly staff. Would stay there again.
