Residence Inn Houston Sugar Land/Stafford

The property was very clean the room was comfortable. The only thing we encountered was there was absolutely no ice available when we arrived and we had to go to the store to get some. We stayed here because we went to a concert at the pub fountains across the highway.

Clean and friendly staff. Parking was difficult at night due to a full lot. We had to park in the hotel lot next door

Affordable pricing and close to family that we (myself and husband) were visiting. Front desk was nice though no wow factor when you enter. The halls and room were a bit drab and dated. The room was ok with normal wear and tear. Bed was semi-comfortable. The kitchenette was a nice and practical feature. It had all the amenities we needed, just needs a little updating. Also, the toilet was very low to the ground. We didn’t explore the entire hotel. I did use the treadmill in the very small fitness room and had to use my own antibacterial wipes to wipe down equipment and no towels were readily available. Overall, the stay was pleasant given the on-going pandemic. No unfortunate events but unsure if we would stay here again.

Hotel is in very poor condition. Strong smell of animal urine in room. Not up to standard for Marriott.

Great place even better for the price. Easy quick check in easy quick check out. Due to COVID I would suggest plastic silverware etc be made an option for guests. Overall nothing negative to see everything was great.

A guest booked a reservation at this property and 10-20 minutes after the reservation was made I called back to inquire about the earliest that would be possible for check in and to see if the requests of the guests would be able to be accommodated. When I realized that those requests could not be met I requested that the reservation would be cancelled with no penalty. The night auditor let me know the cancellation policy was typically 48 hrs in advance for no penalty. I responded letting him know that the guest just made the reservation a few minutes before I called. The agent finally said that he would cancel the reservation with no penalty but there seemed to be confusion on how to do that. When I relayed the information to the guest they wanted their cancellation number. I called the property back and I requested the cancellation number so that I could double check this that this in fact was cancelled with no penalty the night auditor became very rude with his responses. I understand the frustrations that can sometimes come with the night audit shift especially during this strange time in the hospitality industry, but there should be a level respect that is extended to all guests regardless whether or not they work for the company. I was unable to get a manager's name or even the night auditors name because when I called he hotel he just answered saying "Residence Inn". When I asked for this information the night auditor said "oh my God" huffed and then hung up the phone.

Exceptional service. It's like my second home. It has all the amenities that's needed.

Due to COVID nothing was available and this wasn’t told to us during booking or checking in. No discount due to this either. Other visitors were rude and staff helped but didn’t believe what was told to them. Love residence inn, which is why we stayed but NEVER staying here again!

I stayed here during a hurricane and appreciated the convenience of a kitchen in my room. The room was a nice size (studio) and was neatly decorated. Also, the hotel staff was great. However, the tub could use some work (caulking) or reglaze. If you plan on sleeping in, good luck. The hotel room doors are very loud that they will jolt you awake starting at 7 am. This hotel is for someone who has to leave by 6 am because the noise level with the doors outside and the hotel room doors are very loud. I found the groundskeeping well kept and plenty of areas for my dog to walk around. Overall, I will not stay here again if I'm looking for a private getaway. This is for the traveler on the go.
