Americas Best Value Inn Marion, IL

The stay was ok at best the room was not as clean as other hotels I have stayed in. The WiFi didn’t work in our room. The chain lock was install backwards and when you open the door the chain just falls off. The bed was like sleeping in a Murphy bed that was broken and trying to fold back in the wall. I would not stay at this hotel again.

The customer service was excellent. Cleaning ppl well figured they didn't have to put garbage bags in cans. Comforter has stains.

This place was disgustingly dirty. My daughters and I ended up sleeping in my car!

Stayed at this hotel on the way back from Kansas City on 11/26/2021. Checked in and went to room and found a roach running across the frig. Asked to be moved to a new room which they did. In this room was paid a visit by a mouse under the fridge. Wil never stay here again.

Decent place to stay. No phone or alarm clock. Flooring are linoleum planks which I liked. Good hot breakfast. Pool out of order. Bed was comfortable. Can’t beat it for the price. Front desk was accommodating in getting first floor room.

I have never seen a more disgusting condition in a hotel room. The bathroom had not been cleaned and there was used soap bar on the sink vanity. There is mold in the bathroom. The microwave is had not been cleaned in many uses. The cloth chair had a tear in the armrest and the work black leather chair had been so worn that it was white in some spots. I can’t write enough to tell you not to stay here. I tried to get in touch with a manager but she refused to take my call.
