Americas Best Value Inn Marion, IL

When I opened the door, I immediately started sneezing from all of the dampness, moisture, mold, and mildew smell. I was tired so I decided to put up with it and go to bed. I was awakened by a full size bed bug feeding on me. I killed it and brought it to the front desk and asked for a refund. No manager. No district manager. Told me manager would call me Monday. No call. I want a refund. Now. Shut that place down.

Employees were very pleasant

Room was nasty. Brown water. Burns in the blanket in a nonsmoking room

Older facility but adequate for the price. Everything we needed. If anything , security locks on outside need updating

Staff was nice and courteous. Room wasnin overall good shape, but bathroom was a little dirty around the sink.

To many begging homeless people coming up to my car and rooms very nasty and dirty, also jad blood on the toilet seat

Adequate dog walking area which was on the clean side of maintained. Need to sort through linen, some had bare threading - poor quality.

DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT SHIVED! This is a motel in a shady part of town. Every car in the parking lot was either missing body parts or heavily damaged. My room had what looked like bullet holes in the wall. In the four minutes I spent in the room I saw 3 drug deals. Staff refused to give my money back even though I checked out 6 minutes after checking in for fear of my life and vandalism on my vehicle. Find a different hotel!

I checked in went directly to my room..129 opened the door turned on the lights.. THE COCKROACHES RAN EVERYWHERE. I immediately wales back out the door. Went back to the office. Told the desk clerk. She contacted her night manager.she issues my 50$ holding fee. I called expedia Sunday after returning home from my trip. They called the hotel. The ownwers said cant have your money back. If it took over 15 minutes for you to get checked in. And to drive around to your roo.. get to the room then back to the fro t dest. It was to bad. I spent a total.of 2 mintues top at the room itself. Never again
