Countryside Inn and Suites

CONS-The hotel smells very musty. The temperature was set at 80° in my room when I arrived and it took several hours to get to a comfortable temp. When I went to use the microwave in my room, I found someone's rotten chicken wings sitting inside of it and noticed the greasy fingerprints all over that and the refrigerator. I quickly learned the microwave did not even work. I traveled with a cat and he seemed to manage to grab straws and forks and garbage from God knows where that had never been cleaned out. There was a hair clip on the shower curtain from the previous person which makes me wonder if the bathroom was ever really cleaned . The pool was out of order. Online it says breakfast ends at 9:30, but it promptly ends at 9:00. PROS- Excellent water pressure in the shower! The room was quiet.

It was sufficient. Room was clean. I didn't like the location of the property! I couldn't find a good cup of coffee. Went to lobby to look for the breakfast but was disappointed.

It was a nice place. Very nice staff.

It smelled real bad

Staff are amazing. Rooms are super clean. I will be recommending this place 100 percent.

The hotel smelled terrible. There was no soap in the bottles. The black out curtain was broke. The pool was down for maintenance. The hotel next door was turned into a half way house for drug offenders and they were wondering around the property. That’s a never again for me.

Wouldn’t go again

I went to make a cup of coffee with the in room machine and found it already had liquid in it. I poured it out in the sink and found someone had rerun coffee through it. However, why did the maid service not catch this? I ran three cups of water through the machine to try to clean it out, still getting crud out of it, so I took it down to the desk. Got thanked for bringing it down, but no offer of a replacement. In addition, we are on the third floor and the Internet is intermittent at best. Poor service all around. Should have paid for a more expensive place, but this one was already well over $100.

Looked like it was in the process of renovations, breakfast was poor and unprepared daily. Coffee was cold and the building had an odd smell. Room was sleepable and at least the bed was clean and comfortable

The property was not maintained. Lawn looked as if it hadn't been cut in weeks. The exterior of the building had exposed Tyvek where the stucco had either been removed or had fallen off. There were also some very shady looking individuals hanging out by the front door which didn't make me feel very safe. I called ahead to ask if I could have early check-in and was told I could just show up and pay and additional $20 dollars. Sounded a bit weird - kind of like a pay by the hour type response, and when we arrived, the appearance of the location gave off the same vibe. Unfortunately, we had used this third party site "Expedia" so I was unable to cancel and get a refund (my fault). Rather than stay in a place that made me feel unsafe and appeared that it was uncared for, we rented another room down the street and ended up paying for both rooms. That was a very, very, very expensive wedding we attended.
