Countryside Inn and Suites

The pool was closed for maintenance. Would have canceled reservation if we had known. There was no maid service during our four day stay? Continental breakfast was substandard.

They waited until they took my money to tell me the pool wasn’t working , staff and cleaning lady were very rude when I told them there were stains and n the bed which looked like blood , and bugs in the window seals and on the floor absolutely disgusting they switch my room and second room had bugs as well .

Staff, cleanliness

This was a terrible hotel. we had so many issues. From not being able to have bath towels until staff came in the next day at 10 am or take a dirty towel down to get one replaced to being out of the tiny bar of soap and being told I needed to go to the gas station down the road. I gave it one star and that’s bc I had to not bc it deserved even that. We had so many issues with bugs, smell, on going work and no pool working it was a disaster of a hotel that needs a lot of work.

No one is on staff at night. I accidentally locked myself out of my room and no one was at the front desk.

This hotel did not provide a great experience. Everything in the room was musty and dingy, there was food left in the mini fridge left from the previous occupants. The shower had hair left in it and the window wouldn’t stay closed and allowed bugs to come into the room. There was also dog poop in the elevator at one point. Not a very pleasant experience at all.

All bath products were empty. The front desk person barely put his laptop down to help with check-in. It was a decent room, but tiles and trim are chipping and falling off the walls. I asked for additional towels and was told I had to ask later. Room was damp. AC only went down to 66 degrees.

The property smelled damp and musty. The bathtub had mold in the caulking. The soap and shampoo dispensers in the bathtub did not work. The carpets were very dirty. Socks and feet were not clean after walking in the room. Breakfast initially consisted of bread, bagels, and muffins, and well as cereal and juice. After sitting in the breakfast area for abut 20 minutes an associate did come in and put sausage and eggs in the warmers. The rooms did smell fresh.

It was just okay. The room had a wall light that was literally hanging from the wall. I cannot imagine how they couldnt fix this before someone used the room. The toilet seat wasn't put on properly and moved around when you tried to use it.
