Countryside Inn and Suites

We so appreciated the gentleman on the evening staff that checked us in. He was friendly, effective efficient and very kind! The check-in was quick and easy, and we were even offered an upgrade which was perfect for our circumstances!!! Thank you!

Don't be fooled by the Hampton Inn signage in the pictures or all to Hampton Inn room and amenitie pictures. This place was once a Hampton Inn but no longer is. I believe the reviews here on Hotels.com are from the Hampton Inn. This hotel has 1.7 stars on google. The pool is closed. There are many undesirable people and situations on the property.

Room could of been cleaner. Bed not the greats. The pillows were horrible.

Convenient location and friendly staff. Easy check in. Poorly maintained property.

The room was clean but it smells old and everything is a little bit old. A renovation would be nice.

Cons: The qualify of the hotel has gone down since we visited before. Common areas were not clean, for example stairways had old food and dead bugs. There was an overall musty smell (hard to describe exactly). We were disappointed when we checked in to see a sign that the pool was closed as well since the listing advertised the pool as an amenity. For the entire stay it did not appear that anyone was working on the pool, just sitting sad and empty. Pros: One thing we were very happy to see was the new dispensers for the soap, shampoo, etc. in the bathrooms. That is very convenient. All the breakfast staff we encountered were very friendly and they worked the entire time keeping the breakfast items filled for the guests who were dining.

We had a really good sleep on the king size bed and comfy pillows. Delicious continental breakfast. Rates were reasonable for one night after a wedding.

Ordor especially in the hall is awful. They could clean the carpet. No refrigerator in the roms even a small. Our bed smelled like someone had definitely smoked in it we are not smokers. The windows were not clean. I guess you get what you pay for never again.

No notice of pool being closed on the website. Bathroom door was broken, All soaps empty in the room. Overall disappointed with the experience here.
