"Great and Kind Staff"

The staff were very kind and attentive and went above and beyond during our stay. On arrival, they remembered us from last year and made sure we felt comfortable after our long flight. The original room we were booked into had a slight mildew smell from getting the carpet treated, and they were able to find us another remember last minute notice even though the hotel was booked for the holiday season. In particular, Becky Zhu and Kenta Goto went above and beyond and helping us to stage a wonderful holiday gathering for our family. Family had traveled from all over the world to Qingdao, and they help us set up the 20th floor lounge to be a wonderful place for unwrapping presents and celebrating the holiday together. We just wanted to use the space, but Becky and Kenta really went all out in decorating the space with holiday decorations, moving over extra chairs to fit the 14 people, and helping us manage food and beverages during the event. They did all this out of the generosity of their hospitality without any additional charge. It all went off flawlessly and was a very cherished memory for the whole family. I can't speak highly enough about the attentive care today she did us with during our stay, and it definitely makes us want to stay here again next time we are in town. Thank you Becky and Kenta!

My wife and I would like to thank Valley Wing manager Mr Kenta & his staff Becky for their hospitality during our stay at Shangrila Qingdao earlier this month. They even surprised my wife with complimentary room upgrade, room decoration, gift to help celebrate our wedding anniversary. Their warm service & professionalism definitely made it one of most memorable stays in any hotel. We look forward to return the next time we are in Qingdao.
