All the staff were very friendly and helpful! I can’t wait to stay there again. The Valet supervisor Eric was very nice and helped me with any and everything during my two months at the hotel.

We have stayed at this hotel several times in the past few years, and always considered it a great value. This time did not quite meet our expectations. Staff is still friendly, and I think they do try. However, the rooms themselves could benefit from a deep cleaning and some other attention: the thermostats were blinking low battery and wouldn't work. The clerk did come up to replace the batteries, which fixed one, but it turned out the other furnace unit had bigger problems so we could only use the one in our bedroom for that night. Shower faucets dripped, the Keurig didn't work and there was a lot of dust in corners and on top of shelves. This hasn't been our previous experience. We are hoping that the hotel will review their spaces and restore them to the previous high standard.

The Commonwealth's rooms are spacious. The food taste great. However, vallet parking can be a nightmare. The vallet attendants were missing for a long period of time. Also, the front desk didn't know where they were or had a way to get in touch with them. I do understand they can get busy but to stand outside for 30 minutes and no one showed up then had to wait an additional 10 minutes for them to go get the car made us late for a paid event. Keep in mind we call for our car before hand and was downstairs early enough. If attendants were there we would have made it to the event on time. My suggestion is that they have a two way radio system or a system for the front desk to call them or reach them when a guest need their car. With that said we stayed there for 4 days and 3 nights and on the first night the supervisor, Eric, was definitely a professional and was at his station along with Kanish when we came down Friday night to go out. Unfortunately he wasn't there for the other days so the experience was different in which we had to stand outside and wait for a long period of time. In essence, I like the quietness, the food, the apartment like feel of the guest rooms but vallet needs improvement.

Room was dingy and in need of an update. Room temp not adjustable. No soap in bathroom. Old grey (were evidently white at one time) towels. Plumbing fixtures loose in the walls in the bath & sink. Bedroom TV did not work. Bed was comfortable & staff were helpful. Would not recommend.

The hotel and rooms are great, it is located close to everything downtown. If you want breakfast in the hotel be sure to ask the day before when they stop serving because it varies by day and ends earlier than you might expect
