The Commonwealth

The valet, Eric, is very kind and helpful. His greeting set the tone for a very wonderful stay. The Commonwealth is not only welcoming and elegant, but it is memorable due to its friendly staff and historic nature. We stayed on the top floor and enjoyed an incredible view of Richmond—which is also a great city full of great people and opportunities!

Problem with air conditioning

Excellent stay at The Commonwealth! A special shout out to Eric, the Valet Supervisor, who delivered outstanding service, always offering a professional greeting, flexibility with parking, and inspiring confidence and safety to each guest. The restaurant and cleaning staff also made sure we had a comfortable stay. The location was ideal, the property was pristine, and it had a delightful old-time Virginia charm.

Sofa bed did not have adequate warm bedding and room thermostat did not warm that room. My extra guest did not get the comfortable experience we had in the bedroom suite.

The electric lock on the door did not work. It was fixed once but the second time I wanted to leave the room, the door did not lock. Stayed in the rest of the night and used the interior locks.
