Excalibur Hotel & Casino

I canceled my original reservation at one of the more upscale venues and rebooked at the Xcalibur primarily because the promo pricing I received was one third the price of my original booking. While I was initially nervous about that decision, I quickly came to realize just how convenient, clean, and exceptional the value was at the Xcalibur. We didn't have the best of views from the room. But, we really didn't spend much time in the room other than sleep and bathing. It's Vegas - you spend all your time on the Strip, dining, at shows and at night clubs. I would not hesitate to choose the Xcalibur again.

Casino was great as it has been, but the check-in process was sort of a hassle. There are no more desk clerks to assist and a kiosk gave us a room that was supposed to be Newly remodeled, but it was not with frames hanging off the wall, rusty lighting fixtures in the restroom, a loose faucet, and the restroom sink.

This hotel was great. We took the kids and they really enjoyed the trip. We had concerns because of how cheap the rooms were but we were very impressed. The view was awesome from our room and check in and out was so easy. The tournament of kings is a must if you have kids and we can’t wait to go again.

The Excalibur is our go-to hotel in Vegas due to its good location and excellent value in January. This trip was no exception, with refurbished rooms, very comfortable beds, and good-quality toiletries. Unfortunately, the new self-service check-in was a major downgrade from previous visits. While technology should make things easier, this system is clunky and poorly designed. We booked two rooms under one reservation, yet two people had to check in separately. Despite checking in at 7:30pm, only one room was ready. The process of receiving keys via QR code in a different area was confusing, and it took another 25 minutes before the second room became available. Poor Wi-Fi only added to the frustration. We were also placed in different towers, and the room keys didn’t allow access to each other’s lifts, making it impossible to visit without swapping keys. Overall, the new system feels like a step backwards. The previous desk check-in was far friendlier and much easier.

had a great time and loved the room. Great location and easy access to the strip. Not loud and some of the other hotels.

Good price within walking distance of a concert we were going to. Hotel seemed run down and needed refresh. Fine for what we needed butbwould not stay there for the hotel experience.

Excalibur is my favorite strip casino, and the $5 black jack added to the experience. My friends stayed off strip, but Excalibur had a good rate so I stayed there. The free MGM tram allows you to visit other nearby properties (Luxor and Mandalay Bay) easily. The food court is very good too, albeit pretty expensive. The staff are very friendly and there are higher end restaurants available for people who don't want the fast food options in the food court. I didn't see him this trip, but Mac Kong is fantastic. I've seen him multiple times, he is currently at Excalibur. The resort fees are pretty high, but so are most casinos unfortunately

I love the asthetics of the Excalibur, but it only extends to the main areas. The rooms are generically decorated. Missed opportunity. The beds were super comfortable, and the rooms were clean. A number of the food options were not available or had shortened hours, so if you needed food late at night or early in the morning, you were out of luck.

Overall experience was excellent. Staff were great and very helpful. Only 1 concern that the bathroom could have been cleaner.
