Hampton Inn Denver - Northwest Westminster

Water in shower did not stay hot. There was a centipede in the room, Not enough toilet paper. Desk chair horribly dirty. However, the young man at the front desk was very helpful, especially in removing the centipede.

So in a nutshell, we had to stay all three nights in a room with a bathroom door we could BARELY open and close, no landline to use in case of emergency, no wifi, no room cleaning, sink dripped continously and we were continually dismissed, treated rudely, no follow through on promises, and they were not truthful. . No room change was ever made available to us or credit to our account. Think more than twice before staying here..ick

The place was just okay. The main reason I gave the site a 3 star and not 2, is the older gentleman who runs the evening front desk. I didn't catch his name, but just a nice genuine person. Had to change my room due to some work that needed to be done. Went from the 1st floor right by where I parked, to the 3rd floor center. Not really happy about that.

Slow checked in, took 3 Times to get the room Keys to work. The front desk receptionist not too friendly, she didn’t greets or smiles. The facility and the room need to update and upkeep. But the location is great with shops and restaurants.

No wi-fi available at all. Breakfast was ok. Room was clean, carpet good, comfortable bed, loose tiles in bathroom. On the 2nd to last day of my stay, there was a leak from the shower in the room above mine and water was pouring into my bathroom. For some reason, it took more than 2 hours for another room to be located that I could move to. I have stayed at different Hampton Inns around the U.S. and this one was far below the quality of the other ones. I think I am going to check out other hotels for future travel.

Hotel is dirty. Rooms are beat up. Front desk person was rude and not helpful. I’m a Dimond member with Hilton and have been to 100’s of locations. This is one of the worst.

My recent stay was extremely disappointing. • Room Issues: • The first room I was given smelled strongly of smoke. • I went to the front desk and was moved to a second room, but it still had a noticeable smoke smell both on the 3rd floor. • Because it was late and I was exhausted, I stayed — but the room felt humid and damp, which made it even more uncomfortable. • I had specifically requested a smoke-free room because I have asthma, and this situation put my health at risk. I slept very poorly that night. • Wi-Fi Problems: • The Wi-Fi did not work at all during my stay, which was a major inconvenience as I was traveling for work and needed internet access. • I was forced to use my personal hotspot to get work done. • Second Night & Front Desk Interaction: • After working all day, I returned to the room to find the smoke smell was even worse. My clothes even began to smell like smoke. • I went to the front desk to report it, but the staff member was dismissive and unhelpful. She did not apologize, simply stated that some guests cover the smoke detectors and smoke in the rooms, and offered to spray the room (which would not have solved the issue) no offer of changing rooms.
