Residence Inn by Marriott Cleveland Beachwood

I loved the eggs and bacon and salsa, plenty of food choices. Great location, easy access to places we were traveling to. The room was nice and quiet.

I didn't like all the people hanging out in the parking lot by door 2. Also, there was a sticky feeling on the floor in the kitchen and bathroom, like they forgot to rinse the floor?. Had to wear my shoes. Some of the furniture looked like if you put anything on it, it would fall to the ground. The sofa looked very stained.

Room was clean and comfortable but needs to be remodeled. Furniture was very worn. Carpeting was torn in several places. No coffee or tea service except at breakfast.

The breakfast had a nice variety and selection. The room was the perfect size to accommodate my family and I. We will look to return soon.

The only thing missing was the pool not being open, but that may have been due to us having unseasonably warm weather. Other than that, there wasn't anything to not like.

We were very disappointed with the condition of our two bedroom suite. It was dirty, the sheets and pillows had stains, and the pull out couch was unusable. We came in lat from a hockey tournament and just wanted to get some rest, but the process took longer than anticipated dues to having to get an extra room (at least it was on the house). We didn't realize that the Residence Inn was actually a "residence" for people. I figured that the area it was located it would have been a good choice to stay. It wasn't. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly, beyond that, I can't find a reason to recommend this property.

10/10 we stayed in the family suite and it was super nice. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was really good.

This Residence Inn is an easy drive to the Rock ’n Roll Hall of Fame — and the hotel itself belongs in some sort of hall of fame. Yes, it’s that good. For starter, ever seen 6 washers and 8 dryers and just for a buck? Then there is the fitness room with machines and free weights — plus a doctor’s scale. Breakfast is fantastic, with all the usual hot/cold, in addition to fresh bananas/oranges and individual plastic milk containers (fat free and 2%). It’s a big hotel, but the various entrances are numbered (you don’t see that often), so it’s easy to navigate where to park in order to access the nearest elevator. Breakfast is bright and early at 6 on weekdays and 7 weekends (coffee in the lobby 30 minutes prior). Staff is superb, especially people like AGM Bekki who was kind enough to secure some forwarded mail that arrived before us and then she immediately did a remote adjustment on the HVAC in our room so that it remained off as we wanted. She was fast, efficient and personable on our speedy check-in. Thanks also to GM Sigrid for helping us select the perfect room (a roomy 2-Bedroom(Kings)/2-Bath (one tub, one shower) Suite with screened windows. Very good show, GM Sigrid, AGM Bekki and staff!

We had a very relaxing time at the hotel. Our check in was extremely efficient and pleasant. We were able to check in early with our room ready within mimutes of our arrival. The lobby is very comfortable and set up for ease of receiving deliveries and guests The outdoor pool area is very well maintained and welcoming for get togethers with fire pits around the pool site. Overall, this hotel is a great place for a short or longer stay in the Cleveland area.
