"EST holiday experience"

Best holiday ever. Location next to Mediterranean, the whole site beautifully designed and maintained. Accommodation clean, tastefully furnished and very comfortable. Staff: without exception all were friendly, professional and could not do enough to make our stay memorable. We Cannot praise them enough. The whole IKOS experience for us is unique, you will not find a holiday where one is better looked after. The food is excellent, too, with different restaurants to choose from. A fabulous experience! Well done, all of you at IKOS!!

"Our second trip to Ikos!"

This was our second visit to Ikos, and once again it was flawless from start to finish. We came to celebrate my birthday, and the team went above and beyond to make it memorable. A special thank you to Pilar, who personally arranged for our three rooms to be together with a beautiful view and greeted us warmly every time we passed reception - such a lovely touch of genuine hospitality and a true gem! Bianca gave us a wonderful welcome and smooth check-in, and the porters were fantastic, always friendly and efficient. The resort itself is a spotless gem -immaculately clean, beautifully maintained, and full of thoughtful details. The food was delicious, the pools were fabulous for all ages, and the atmosphere felt safe, secure, and relaxed throughout. We enjoyed biking, tennis, and visiting most of the restaurants. The buffet’s themed nights are also amazing. A big thank you also to the staff at Ouzo, who kindly let us enjoy just desserts on our final day (we couldn’t resist them!) and to the entertainment team -dancing with them at the ‘White Party’ was such fun! The room service team were always so polite and cheerful too. Another brilliant feature is the WhatsApp concierge service - whatever you need, you just message and they sort it out straight away! It made everything so easy and effortless. Ikos truly is a standout resort -warm, elegant, and run with genuine care. We can’t wait to return again soon!

"Exceptional experience"

Hi Ikos This was our fourth stay at an Ikos resort, but our first time at an Ikos in Spain, and once again, it was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, the level of service, attention to detail, and warmth from every member of staff reminded us why we keep coming back. Every meal was exceptional — from the à la carte restaurants to the beachside dining, everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. The service throughout was flawless: professional, friendly, and always with a genuine smile. The resort itself is stunning, immaculately maintained, and full of thoughtful touches that make you feel instantly relaxed. Whether we were lounging by the pool, enjoying cocktails at sunset, or exploring the local area through the resort’s experiences, everything exceeded expectations. In particular, we’d love to mention some staff who went above and beyond throughout including Pilar (Duty Manager), Mohammed in Lobby Bar, every single member of staff at the pool bars especially Simona, George in Ouzo. There were so many others we could mention but overall an exceptional team. Not forgetting how valuable the E-concierge team were - outstanding! We’ve already booked our stay for next year, which says it all! Ikos continues to set the standard for luxury, relaxation, and genuine hospitality. "Disappointing Stay – Not Worth €22,000 for 9 Nights"

We stayed at Ikos Andalusia, Room 7101, from 11–21 August 2025 in a Deluxe room, paying over €22,000 for nine nights. Having stayed with Ikos before, we were expecting a flawless luxury experience. Sadly, the reality was far from it. The positives: • The Deluxe pool area was excellent, with thoughtful touches such as champagne and gin trolleys, cocktail of the day, and sunglasses cleaning. • Service around the pool was some of the best we’ve ever experienced — drinks and food delivered within minutes. • Stella, the massage therapist, deserves special mention for her professionalism and quality of treatment. The negatives: • Food & Wine: The food, advertised as “Michelin-star designed,” was heavily over-salted and often inedible. Poolside food was especially poor (a club sandwich was completely inedible). Wines were basic supermarket bottles (€4–8) presented as “premium.” The only true premium option was Taittinger, and only available to Deluxe guests. • Safety: Serious concerns here. We found broken glass in a children’s play area, reported it with photos, and it remained uncleared for over 24 hours. Lifeguards were often distracted on their phones rather than supervising. We also saw a rat running across a path in daylight. • Noise: Our room was directly above the main bar. From 8pm until midnight noise reached ~65 dB, more than twice the Spanish legal maximum of 30 dB at night, making it extremely difficult for our children to sleep. The lack of soundproofing made this worse. • Service Failures: A PlayStation promised to our children on arrival took four days to arrive, and when it did, it had only one controller and very outdated games. The minibar had to be chased daily and was often restocked with non-Deluxe items. Housekeeping was inconsistent — for most of the stay we had only one mug and one dressing gown, despite repeated requests. We raised all of this directly with management during and after our stay. While they acknowledged the issues, the compensation offered was less than 10% of the cost of our holiday. At this price point, and given the seriousness of the issues (especially safety and sleep), we feel this is far from proportionate. Overall: Ikos Andalusia is marketed as a five-star luxury resort. At over €22,000 for nine nights, we expected exceptional standards. Instead, we encountered safety failings, poor food, inadequate service, and an environment unsuitable for families seeking a restful holiday. We will not be returning.

"Our Third Visit Outstanding Care and Kindness Once Again"

My wife and I returned to Ikos Andalusia in September for our third visit, and once again it completely lived up to everything we love about this resort. A week before travelling, I injured my knee and needed crutches to get around, but the kindness and care from everyone at Ikos made sure our holiday was still perfect. From the moment we arrived we were met by Elois who made us feel like valued guests, and ensuring everything was arranged to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Service throughout the resort was faultless from the warm welcome at reception to the friendly teams at the restaurants and pools, everyone went out of their way to help. The atmosphere is always relaxed yet so professional, which makes every visit feel special. A particular special mention must go to Pilar, who checked in with us every day to make sure I was managing well. Her thoughtfulness and genuine care truly made a difference and turned what could have been a difficult week into another unforgettable Ikos experience. Ikos Andalusia continues to set the highest standard in hospitality, and we’re already looking forward to returning next year.

"Another Amazing Stay at Ikos Andalusia"

We’ve just got back from another amazing stay at Ikos Andalusia. It felt like being back in the pre Covid days again with everything spot on, from glass cleaners to snacks and cocktails brought round throughout the day. Marisofi and Lenka were brilliant with my mum’s food allergy, they really did go above and beyond, including arranging items not on the menu and even helping on days off. We really couldn’t have asked for more! Bozeman in Ouzo looked after us so well at breakfast and Katerina at the family pool was excellent as always. We were really pleased to see Ali who served us so well last year was still around although now in Seasons. When my nephew became unwell, the doctor on site was fantastic and got him to the local hospital quickly. Lucia on reception went above and beyond to sort all his medication from one pharmacy. It really is when things go wrong that you get to see the true benefit of being at Ikos. We couldn’t have asked for better service. Different members of staff came to check how he was doing throughout our stay and even left a gift on his bed when they knew he was on the mend. Maria and Desina in the main bar were great and kept our glasses full. The evening entertainment in the Main Bar was much livelier than we’ve seen before. It would be good if other Ikos resorts had a venue like the Main Bar at Andalusia. We loved it so much we’ve already got our next two trips booked.

"Happy Days"

We had a great holiday, the resort was fantastic, as you would expect. What we really appreciated was how good the kids clubs were for our two young children, just having them in for a couple of hours a day gave us some time to really relax. My two year old in particular had an amazing time with Maria and her team.

"Positives and negatives for the food! Amazing for Coeliacs"

We had both fantastic and absolutely terrible experiences with the food in the hotel so it is hard to do a review when such we experienced such positives but also such negatives. I would have liked to have been only concentrating on what a fantastic hotel this is for coeliacs but instead I’m also writing about how terrible our meal in Ouzo was. Firstly, I have coeliac disease and the hotel are absolutely fantastic at catering for allergies. Lenka and Marisofi from the Food and Beverage concierge team were absolutely amazing. They ensured that I was truly confident that none of food served to me contained any gluten and had not been cross contaminated. They clearly communicated in advance what I could eat for each meal and they would pre order this from each restaurant. They were both very professional and knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. I would not hesitate to recommend anyone with coeliacs disease to visit the hotel. They also delivered gluten free biscuits to our room on the first night which was a lovely and appreciated gesture. Ikos really have a very slick and professional set up for careering for allergies and they deserve the most positive feedback for this. However we had an absolutely terrible meal one evening in Ouzo and this left a real taste of disappointment. At the prices charged in this hotel no meal should have been this bad. The meal was absolutely unacceptable from the start to the finish and absolutely not on par with the Ikos brand. I preordered gluten free food and the chicken dish I received was horrible and what one may serve a toddler. I have attached the photo below. It was dry, stringy and the rice was cold they couldn’t even be bothered to add a salad even though this was meant to be a main dish - photo below. To even believe this is on par as a main course served in ikos and a Michelin inspired dish! One of the children’s meals arrived over 20 minutes after the other two children’s meals with no explanation or apology. The other two children had already finished eating by the time the last meal arrived. We had to ask a few times where it was with no explanation as to why two kids meals arrived and the other one didn’t. We ordered a Fanta that never arrived and had to ask again 4 times over 40 minutes before it arrived. I ordered a herbal tea which never arrived. The server gave up serving our table, despite us remaining polite so we gave up and we poured our own wine and poured own water for at least the last half hour of the meal. They didn’t ask if we wanted anything else to drink they literally gave up and wandered off. The manager was in the restaurant, he should have been watching his tables and noticed there were many issues but he didn’t. It was a sad meal and Ikos can do better. We were offered a lunch in Seasons but this no way made up for a terrible evening meal. I didn’t feel they actually really cared or would have changed anything to ensure this didn’t happened again.

"Our stay at Ikos Andalusia"

We had an amazing stay at Ikos Andalusia. The venue is great with beautiful swimming pools and access to the beach. The room we choose was spacious and very comfortable, with a stunning view to the sea. The food at Ikos is always top with a lot of different choices but I would like to call out the Oliva restaurant for the quality of food and services. Our stay was also made easy and special by the great support of Matteo who was always available to address our requests and make our stay unforgettable. We had also a very positive experience with Olga the swimming teacher of our 5 years old child, the lessons were great and my son made progress and had a lot of fun. Ikos is good value for the money spent, and very enjoyable family experience.
