Ikos Andalusia

This is our second visit to an IKOS resort. Last September we visited IKOS Porto Petro and had a truly memorable holiday. This time was equally as good. What sets it apart? As with most things, it's the people. Generally young, attentive, not overly stuffy, with a genuine desire to help. They are clearly trained very thoroughly in the 'IKOS way', and even though they've only been open a few weeks this season, the management have done a great job getting their staff ready. The food is Michelin Star standard, the whole resort is spotless, and the overall ambience is excellent; having someone come round to clean your sunglasses is pretty cool. Our one bedroom suite in the Deluxe Collection isn't cheap, but nor should it be - it's great value for money. If we were to pick out a member of staff for a mention, we would have had to make a note of everyone we spoke to, so we'll limit it to mentioning one person. Our Deluxe Collection contact was Matteo! Wow! What an example to those around him. Of course, it's a family resort, so at various times of the year you'd expect to see more families, even when they should be at school! Our biggest problem? Choosing which IKOS resort to go to next.

We throughly enjoyed our second stay at Ikos Andalusia having last visited in 2023. The majority of our stay was perfection- the staff, the service and the cleanliness. Every time I went to the pool or reception loos there was a cleaner inside! Nothing is ever too much trouble for the staff when you make a request. Our only slight disappointment this time round was with some of the food which is why I took off a star. In particular, the Oliva restaurant which was our favourite the last time we came. For dinner we ordered the paella which was the standout dish last time- it came in a huge paella dish and every part of it was fresh. Sadly this time the paella was just a thin layer of burnt, dry rice and I got a gritty prawn that hadn’t been deveined which I found horrible. The portion sizes were nowhere near as big and we found in the first two days the food at Fresco was cold but for the rest of the week it was fine so maybe just an off couple of days as the resort was very busy. Chiringuito was the standout food wise and the only place which was consistent and the wine tasting was definitely the best activity! Overall, I would recommend this resort for families looking for convenience, great service and value for money. I think we will try a different Ikos resort for our next stay.

We had a fantastic stay at Ikos Andalusia. We really enjoyed all the restaurants, with great variety and quality throughout, and service-wise everything was perfect. Housekeeping was also excellent, keeping everything spotless and comfortable during our stay. The team truly made the difference. Stefanie at reception was warm and efficient, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Michael, the Duty Manager, was always present and very helpful, ensuring everything ran smoothly. Darko at the Chiringuito was friendly and attentive, adding to the relaxed atmosphere, and Matteo in the Deluxe area provided excellent, professional service throughout. Overall, a wonderful experience with great people and outstanding service

This was our second holiday to this hotel and it did not disappoint. This is our favourite Ikos from the other ones we have stayed. We love the additional options of bars and restaurants and proximity of everything being walkable vs needing golf buggies. A few staff shout outs who made our holiday extra special, Martina, Jack from Ouzo, and Alejandro the life guard in the kids splash pool who went above and beyond to not only help look after my severely autistic son Charlie but also played with him We can’t wait to come back hopefully again soon

We enjoyed our stay a great deal. Your staff were incredibly warm, welcoming and helpful at all times. The service was perfect. Our spa treatments were incredible, especially Anastasia. The women at the spa front desk couldn’t have been nicer. Fresco was our favourite restaurant but they were all excellent. Our rooms were kept clean and lovely and we never felt anything was missing. The pool side staff were wonderful. It was so reassuring to have a lovely doctor on sight. We cannot fault this resort, we had a wonderful time and are so grateful for the care and effort you all put into ensuring that we had a wonderful stay. Thank you so much and keep up the good work.

This was my second visit to IKOS Andalusia with my 10 yo son. We had an amazing, fun and relaxing time. The staff really go out of their way to help you, and ensured we were having a good holiday. I’d like to highlight Bella in particular who was so warm, friendly and helpful. My favourite thing to do was to relax by the pool with a book and watch my son happily enjoying himself for hours in the pool. I’d like to also mention the kids club. He usually hates kids club but went to a session happily every day because the staff made it a fun, welcoming and safe experience for all kids.

We had the most amazing time here over Easter holidays. The facilities are fantastic, food is superb, but the service is what makes this hotel stand out so much. They aim and succeed at making you feel like part of a family, nothing is ever too much. Not at any point did we experience anything other than professionalism, patience and dedication. Very professional team throughout the resort! Our son has dozens of allergies (literally) and they have made the experience of ordering so very easy for us. We were looked after exceptionally well. We were so very lucky to have Elena as our kids nanny for the duration of the stay and we only wish we could bring her back to London with us. She was incredible with our kids, like a member of the family who is so loving and dedicated. We couldn’t thank her enough. Thank you team Ikos Andalusia.

This was our second time at Ikos Andalusia. A family with two kids (3+7) it works great for us. Child care is fantastic, the crèche and kids club team being so good meant we got some respite and our girls thoroughly enjoyed themselves (even if the first drop off was a bit painful!). The resort is spotless, staff super attentive, food across the restaurants is fantastic but the buffet for the kids is really high quality too. We used their car for a day to go to Gibraltar which was certainly a highlight. We also borrowed the bikes for a morning ride to Estepona (45 mins each way) with kids on seats and the back. A lovely route. Lots of services we didn't really use (tennis/football/spa/aqua aerobics/gym) but for noted they were there and always nice to have the option!
