The robes weren’t soft and there were no slippers to walk around room

I really enjoyed my one-night stay here. Great location, very close to Union Station. My room was clean, spacious, and well-stocked. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful; I also really appreciated the help of the valet (Solomon) in storing my luggage for a few hours after check-out. The continental breakfast was pretty limited but free of charge. Would definitely recommend, especially for business travel.

The breakfast was microwaved sandwiches but staff were awesome, especially Solomon who got my bag out a couple of times after check out. The rooms were great and the gym was basic but useful.

Nice atmosphere and very clean rooms. Breakfast was included, and they also had a complimentary wine hour from 5–6 PM, which was a nice touch. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, especially Ahmed, who was super nice. Our room was missing one bathrobe at first, but everything else was great overall.

Arriving to the Hotel George is always a pleasure when Solomon is there to greet you. He is always so professional and it's so nice to be welcomed by a friendly face.

Ahmed may be the most hospitable host ever! And how can I ever stay at another hotel that just gives me a pen... here you get quills!

The hotel was very nice. The room was pleasant and the employees that worked there were awesome.

Location: Excellent. Steps from multiple metro lines—getting around the city was effortless. Cleanliness: Immaculate. Room and lobby were spotless. Price: Outstanding value for the quality offered. Bonus: Complimentary bicycles made touring the National Mall and museums incredibly convenient. Verdict: A rare find combining location, cleanliness, affordability, and thoughtful amenities. Highly recommended.

While the complimentary wine was a lovely gesture, the selection could be elevated to better match the hotel's overall standard. Additionally, the bicycles could use some more love; on my last day, the gear shift wouldn't shift above fourth gear. A quick service check on the bikes and a slight upgrade to the wine offerings would make these amenities truly shine.
