Le Meridien Jeddah

If not for the third world feel of civil unrest caused by the large barriers and armed gun turrets, this hotel would be among the finest to stay with. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. This is my second stay here in the past 8 months and for sure would stay here again.

Never going to set the world on fire but nice enough for a short business trip.

Not a 4 star never mind 5 star hotel, especially when you consider the price. Smell in corridors was terrible, outside traffic noise was loud(even though I stayed on 4th floor) Breakfast was average, served by a less then happy waiter !! Reception & check in were excellent.

This is a good convenient hotel if you are on business for a few days. The hotel is very well located in Tahlia area in the center of the city. Rooms are big and very comfortable though would fail a standard cleanliness test. Housekeeping could definitely be improved. Check in and out was quick and overall service was good. Food at the Brasserie and room service is good and Wifi is free in the lobby and paid in the rooms but the signal is most of the times weak- similar to other areas of Jeddah. Where the hotel fails at though, is in the general smell of stale cigarette smoke and dampness due to its being somehow an old hotel with no fresh air coming in.

Its in the middle of Jeddah so it is close to all services and their is a supermarket right infront of the hotel inside the mall infront of the entrance, and there are taxis infront of the entrance

I was not happy with the booking, the quality of the staff, and the general appearance of the hotel.
