Chateau Yering

Enjoyed the historic building and the free wine tasting next door. Bath was great too and comfortable bed.

The building is feeling a bit tired and it would have been nice to have help with our bags as it’s a trek to the room.

We loved the character of the buildings and their obvious historical background. That was complemented by how well they were modernised for comfort and service for example the quality of the bathrooms.

The television was the only issue we had but that was minor in the scheme of things.

Lovely location and facilities.

The rooms are huge and the complimentary wine is a great surprise. We like the atmosphere of the property.

Should have a small snack bar that is open 24x7 in case we need something for the wine. Or it could be that we miss the location.

The room was massive and every thing was beyond my expectations.

Breakfast variety was not the greatest, but really warm service.

Breakfast was ok. Only 0ne course and tea or coffee offered.

Arrived to reception unsure if we had a booking or not!!Dining Room, Lounge Room and Drawing in a shambles as apparently being used by a film production company so personal and work gear everywhere and unusable that night. It was cleared next morning but first impressions of the historic chateau were shattered. I specifically chose this accommodation for its historic grandeur and facilities. So to be told on arrival that the chef and his staff had left a week ago so there were no meals available apart from breakfast at an inhouse cafe was most disappointing!!! We should have been told as the venue was out in the country and we had planned to have evening meals inhouse. For the price paid I expected far better and justice was not done to a grand old building. I would find it hard to recommend.

Tolles Hotel! Sehr britisch, sehr stylish! Grosser Spaß und ein echt schönes Hotel. Das benachbarte Weingut hat schöne Weine! Leider war das Restaurant wegen Renovierung geschlossen, können also dazu nichts sagen!

Loved the old world charm

Heating on all night and couldn’t be adjusted resulting in overheating!
