Avoid! Don't let the pics fool you! Read the reviews. This is a hotel mainly for long-term residents and the front desk personnel were actually surprised I was staying there short term. The bed only has a sheet on it, and I had to crank up the heat to almost 80 to get heat in the bedroom. Crumbs on the couch, smell of smoke in the hallways. There is no breakfast and the overall appearance of the hotel is not good. I stayed one night and checked out the next morning. I tried to get a refund for the remaining two nights, and they said no. Avoid!!

As a former employee with two years of experience at the hotel, I can confirm that many of the negative reviews are justified and reflect genuine concerns. The property is significantly outdated and in disrepair, with management prioritizing cost-cutting measures above all else. There is a serious pest issue, including a roach infestation and bedbugs. On multiple occasions, I witnessed roaches behind the front desk, on the walls, and emerging from the coffee machine. The General Manager even admitted to avoiding eating lunch on-site due to these issues. Maintenance efforts are inadequate, often resembling temporary fixes rather than proper solutions. The General Manager allows housekeepers to clock leave early and return later to clock out allowing them to have a full days work on their time card when in reality they have only worked for a few hours which undermines accountability. She also gets her hair and nails done when she should be on site. She directs front desk to lie to corporate members of MS Suites and tell them she is off getting supplies. Additionally, room rates seem to be adjusted based on the perceived gullibility of guests, rather than being consistently applied. There have been troubling incidents involving guests living out of their cars, drug use, and personal attacks on front desk staff. Despite these concerns, the General Manager has shown little interest in addressing them, often prohibiting staff from contacting her in emergencies or involving law enforcement on the property. Guests who raise legitimate issues may find themselves labeled as "problem guests" and face eviction rather than resolution. The hotel is also plagued by significant plumbing issues, with instances of water leaking from light fixtures near the front desk. Many dishwashers are either non-functional or clogged, leading to stagnant water. The carpets in guest rooms have not been shampooed in over two years, unless a pet incident prompts a complaint. Basic amenities, such as toilet paper, paper towels, and dishwashing detergent, are often not provided, contrary to what is advertised on the website. The General Manager frequently cancels short-term reservations without prior notice, leaving guests frustrated upon arrival. Front desk staff are unable to offer room changes or refunds, regardless of the circumstances. Moreover, the General Manager has made derogatory remarks about individuals of her own background, expressing a disdain for others she perceives as lacking class. Finally, time off requests are often denied if they do not align with management's preferences, and calling in sick can lead to severe repercussions. Overall, the management practices and working conditions at this hotel are concerning and merit serious attention.

Didn’t end up staying there. Checked in and then right out. The room smelled really bad, the floors were sticky, the toilet didn’t work, and more. When I asked to be moved to another room my request was denied. I didn’t want to stay there and would never go back.

Nice staff

The bed was good, The refrigerator worked well. The TV and available channels was good. The location was great. The hvac unit worked well. The toilet and sink and stovetop all worked well. The floor was decent, though a bit sticky feeling when wet.

Bugs. The stay would have been pretty decent except for the 4 or 5 little roach like looking bugs I killed in the kitchen and the bathroom over a few days. The carpets in the hallway were horrible and smelly like a wet dog and old smoke. The room smelled fine though. The bathroom was decent with some bad spots on the ceiling and around the tub. The soap and shampoo/conditioner dispensers were rusted. Dishes were lacking, no frying pan available.

If you're looking for a place that balances comfort and price this is solid choice

Convienience

Staff here are all great. Rooms are well equipped (full size fridge, dishwasher, FULL SIZE microwave, 2 burner stove) for longer stays. The location, price, and amenities are an exceptional value here. I had two maintenance issues and both were resolved promptly. For what this hotel is, it is perfect.

Rooms are a bit dated and may have an issue or two, hotel allows dogs (a negative in my book as someone with allergies), but neither are serious issues.

The hotel canceled our reservation without informing us. So we arrived to find out there wasn’t any rooms available due to being overbooked. Luckily we found a room at another hotel.
