Waves at Surfside

Location right on the beach with our own private pool.

No breakfast option provided but adults can go next door to Breakas resort for meals. Would have loved a coffee machine given no restaurant on site.

Big and spacious rooms, all rooms had ensuite and beautiful view

The pool was not cleaned properly therefore we did not end up using our private pool which was a pity as it was on of the highlights of the property. Also when windy stuff came down from the roof and made the floors and bedding dirty

Beautiful large 4 bedroom property right on the beach and close to restaurants and little supermarket shops. Beautiful private pool and great overall villa for a big group. Staff we so lovely and very helpful. We spent some meals at Breakas bar and restaurant next door which was great, expensive but nice food and a great show on Wednesday nights! Cafe Villa restaurant was amazing! Easy and cheap to catch the bus into town.

Totally didn’t suit our purposes but not the accommodation’s fault as it was a last minute booking due to our Tanna flights being cancelled. This is a windy surf beach so no snorkelling or kayaking, right across the road from a village which was lovely but quite noisy at night, and the usual barking dogs!! Vanuatu is not cheap for tourists - the food is similar price to Aus, and the tours and entry fees are not cheap.

My family loved our stay at Waves (2 adults, 3 kids - 13, 10 and 2). Location was great, 10 mins on a bus to town but a few lovely restaurants within walking distance. the rooms were equiped for home cooking which we loved. The staff are exceptional, Katia is so so lovely and extremely helpful.

Unfortunately at night the wind coming off the ocean was very loud. Made it hard to sleep. I’d bring ear plugs.

Right on the ocean so the view was amazing! Very clean and comfortable, nothing was too much trouble for the staff Luxurious and so spacious

No complaints at all.
