The Ketch Inn

It was ok...

Hotel was fine, shuttle is convenient. Could see bald eagles near the property too. We will try to stay here again. Walking distance to Walmart but need a taxi to get downtown.

Could not get the ground floor room we were told we were getting and had to wait in the bar area until 6:30 that evening waiting for them to clean the rooms .. way under staffed and manager confirmed that they were having a bad day ! If you stay at this inn make sure you have no health issues or problems climbing stars because they have no ramps or elevators. They were very nice and apologized for all the delays but would never stay at this Inn again.

Good place, clean, right on the ocean.

Positives: Loved the location! Get 2nd floor water view-loved sitting on the balcony watching boats, planes, sea life!!! Everyone was very nice and accommodating. The breakfast that they package and give you to heat in your room was awesome! It was like a breakfast scramble (eggs, potatoes, peppers, cheese). Washer and dryer on site and reasonable. Negatives: The mattress was horrible!!! My body hurt and I could barely sleep. Even though I slept terrible, I would stay again due to the other positives.

Dispite being short staffed, they bent over backwards to accommodate us. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Shuttle service was great also!!!!

The online pictures told me the room was going to be bright, with a beautiful view and a sliding glass door leading to a little balcony overlooking the water. There wasn't any ocean front rooms available, so we were given a garden view which was just a parking lot view, so we were a little disappointed in that. The room itself kinda smelled like an old stale hotel room.. but with a fabreeze plug in and some Lysol cleaning wipes, we were good as new.. The beds are wonderful.. so comfy!!! It was a little different to start... But all in all.. it was okay.

Super helpful and friendly staff at restaurant, front desk and bar. Erin and I don't remember her name were great at the bar.

Simple and quite hotel, great views of the water, and close to downtown Ketchikan. Their onsite restaurant did an excellent job on every meal we ate there.

This property has thoughtful staff and caring staff and great accommodations! Would stay again and definitely recommend!
