Hampton Inn Carrollton KY

It is the cleanest place in that town.

They are not keeping it maintained well. The phone didn’t work. We had no fridge. No competition offer for no fridge or offer for another room.

The Hampton was easy to get to and the room was clean and comfortable. The shower was fine and the breakfast was hot including smoked sausage, eggs, and waffles. It was also quiet despite being close to the highway. The price was a bit more than comparable hotels, but overall a good stay.

Breakfast the first day was great. The pool was very large and nice. Glenda - the gal at the front desk was wonderful!

Breakfast on the second day (Saturday) there was little to eat, as many things had run out and were not being replenished due to lack of staff. We asked for more waffle batter, but it was never filled in the 40 minutes we spent downstairs for breakfast. There was no butter, little fruit, the apple juice was extremely weak, and we had to ask both mornings to have the hot water replaced to get hot tea. We did not know that the towels would not be replaced, so we had to go down and ask for them.

This is perhaps one of the cleanest and well maintained Hampton inns I have ever been in. The hotel clerk was stressed out due to key cards and computers being offline. But she was so helpful and polite and really trying hard to make things right. They need to give this lady a raise! She really went above and beyond to make sure her guests were comfortable. We were in 313 and it’s by the elevator. I was not happy about it but I was surprised at how quiet it was. So my disappointment was actually wrong. The room was super clean, comfortable and well maintained. The shower would pin you to the wall! Absolutely loved it and even checked out the brand so I can get the same shower head for my bathroom at home. Hands down the best experience at a Hampton inn. Would HIGHLY recommend. And I wish I knew the young lady that worked the counter 7/19/2024 she was simply amazing and she was hustling! We checked in at around 5/6pm. Give that girl a raise I cannot recall her name but she was amazing!

The busiest time of the year. What did they do? Pave the parking lot! Hardly any parking! Also, I'm handicapped and the elevator was out! During Regatta and Rooster tail music fest. We were on the 3rd floor. I'm handicapped so, long walk from parking then 3 flights of stairs! This is the owners at fault. The staff were nice. Our room was clean. Better planning I hope next year.

It was spacious. We had plenty of room.
