The Pickled Parson of Sedgefield

Quirkiness of the story behind the name. The village of Sedgefield was delightful.

The decor being so dark. Navy blue ceiling and walls! Bathroom was minute especially the sink. Difficult to clean our teeth. Food disappointing but chef was helpful getting us some fruit and the right bread for breakfast. None of the staff made much of the name story.

Nice hotel friendly staff good food , rooms are fresh and clean , parking is a bit hit and miss as you have to park on the street , WiFi was ok when you got to connect , dropped out quite often , bathrooms where clean and modern

Excellent breakfast. Excellent receptionist/ waitress v efficient and friendly. Comfortable bed.

The decor is awful, dark chipped paint everywhere. Tiny bathroom, sink won’t fill by design.

Great accomodation, lovely location on the edge of the square and staff are friendly and helpful. Room was great as was the food
