The Pickled Parson of Sedgefield

The staff were pleasant and the village itself was lovely. The location on the green was good. Our main courses in the restaurant were great Breakfast plentiful if you like a cooked one. Liked the tunnocks.

Our room was covered in a layer of dust that made us sneeze, there was also a dirty toilet brush. Breakfast needed to have more variation, there was no fresh fruit, yoghurt options etc.

Breakfast was pleasant and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. Room was dusty and cramped but the bed was very comfortable.

I expected more from the bedroom after paying £130. Carpets weren’t clean throughout and the bathroom was extremely cramped. No food available on the evening and we were directed to a neighbouring pub. A little disappointed

Small cramped room, small double bed, more like queen size. Slightly tatty decor (paint pealing in bathroom) Breakfast was cold.

The property is less than 50 metres from the church, our room looked out onto the church which is a handsome building , however the church bells ring extremely loudly 3 times and hour and throughout the night making it impossible to sleep. I was absolutely shattered when leaving the PP.

Very good time

Very pleasant pub hotel. Staff were very friendly, the room was comfy, spotlessly keen Breakfsast was delicious: I had full English but they had several choices all included Lovely location: verry picturesque

The pub ddid not serve food on Mondays. Not a big deal, there were several other places in town, bit it was a shame as the atmosphere was nice

No wifi, couldn't change temperature on shower...permanently boiling
