The New Mill Apartments

we found our room clean and ready. nice smile and handy tips from the manager. great kebab fastfood right nextdoor , much better than the ones in centre. the boss said they will be offering extra services in the future. we will see if he did so next time we stay.

This was booked through chillisauce and we had 1 4 bed apt and 1 2 bed apt. Location is close to city centre so taxi into town good price. Lots of nice looking restaurants nearby but didn't try. Asda next door and we parked in there car park. I was worried that the minibus may get stolen as area not brilliant. Our minibus wouldn't start the 2nd day and the new mills manager came out with a battery charger and was most helpful though. The 2 bed apt was freezing and manager sorted the next day. We were told apts were luxury ones and they were clean with towels etc but the finishes were poor such as paintwork holes in wall slashed leather sofas (at the back so couldn't see) pull for shower hanging off dangerously, taps completely turning. Would I stay again? No I'd book an hotel

We can't understand the negative reviews. We stayed for my friends hen party and it was perfect. Great location close to town, asda supermarket near by, car garage in case your vehicle breaks (which ours did)! Friendly staff and very helpful. We did have an issue with our boiler when we arrived but the owners soon fixed it without hassle. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to any groups that need to stay together .. Hostel at the the heart of Newcastle upon Tyne located off barrack road. The accommodation is spot on within electric gate , good security gadget with latest equipment. The rooms are spacious with common room and kitchen
