I love the old building. The rooms feel like a step back in time. The staff was friendly. The lounge wasnโ€™t open when we were there, but in the past, has been a relaxing place to sit for hours and visit with my person.

The shower was slippery! There were no non-slip grids. Small beans compared to how cool the place is. Also, I thought it would be romantic to see if the place was haunted, so I googled it. Turns out, people reported creepy ghostly encounters on the very floor we slept on. That actually wasnโ€™t romantic after all. I laid awake all night wondering if every noise was a ghost that saw what I googled on my phone.
