Beautiful location, charming dining room but…..

To my surprise, the advertised full breakfast was unavailable during my early week stay. When I asked the surly woman working the desk where I could get breakfast , she told me to “look it up”! Wow. That’s all you need to know .

"Lovely location, not great service, not a good value."

Very pretty and quiet location. Lots of nice birds. Loved our front verandah.

We felt nickel and dimed. Had paid in full on Booking only to be told when we got there it would be $17 more dollars. Clearly not the end of the world but it was their error, they should have absorbed it or offered us a free drink or something. I asked for a quiet room and they put us over the driveway area. It was quiet because there were few other guests but not the right location for a quiet room. And, I'm not sure why we paid a $30 resort fee when most of the resort amenities were still closed. Between the $17 extra charge, the resort fee when the facilities weren't active...you see my point

The whole experience was exceptional. Friendly staff, outstanding food, great cocktails and a beautifully maintained historic building in a quiet setting. 10/10 and would love to back for another visit.

Ice machine didn’t work Not a fan of Kurig coffee machines Should have had Coffee available in the morning No nice chairs or table in room. Wasn’t told about no breakfast on Wednesday.
