Kent Island Resort

We had a girls getaway to the Inn. The staff was wonderful. Mark, Heather and Venessa were helpful in every way. The property is beautiful. Perfect place to host weddings or large events. The Inn has a large events barn that overlooks stunning countryside property. We will go back! Small and only downside is they don’t serve breakfast during the week. They did have coffee and tea available.

Property is pretty. No elevators so a bit of excercise walking up 3 flights with suitcase.

Very attractive building and grounds. Staff was great including front desk people and especially our last server at the restaurant, Chastity; she was great. As far as the hotel, they had 2 weddings each of the two nights we stayed there. Our room faced the reception tent of one of them. The music was so loud we could not get sleep until 11pm when it stopped at which point many of the guests decided to run up and down the short hallway for another 1/2 hour banking on doors and talking loudly. Before the 2nd night, I asked the staff if they could put up a sign reminding guests to be reasonably quiet and the answer was, no, that's not possible. Not a place to go on a weekend if you're looking for quiet and a bedtime before 11:30pm. Food was very good and the bathroom was nice. Bed was comfy.

The room itself was meh. The inn looks so beautiful and quaint from the outside but the room decor looked like a hospital. No color, no art, no coziness whatsoever. For the price, it should have been more welcoming. Public transport to and fro was lacking big time too. 😞 It was very clean and convenient because we attended a wedding there but at the price, we expected much more
