Kent Island Resort

We stayed during the early week. The staff at Kent Island Resort were welcoming and very helpful. The manor is surrounded by nature and was beautifully renovated and expanded- both the common areas and rooms. The restaurant had great food and a range of options as did the bar. The only missing dining element during the week is breakfast but there are 2 places within a 2 mile drive. Due to weather we did not use the pool or hire a captain to take us on a boat ride. It is peaceful and quiet during the week and not much activity so bring books or games . It is mostly an events/ wedding venue on weekends. It was an enjoyable 3 day stay with lots to do and see within a 30-45 min drive. I would recommend for a relaxed stay.

Feels like your own oasis. Great getaway with spectacular views. Staff is amazing , friendly. The room comes with an actual golden key with a number on it. Very nostalgic. Time piece property with a modern touch. Food is delightful on top of everything. Highly recommend.

This property is a time piece colonial style house. The only minor downside is doesn’t have an elevator. Property only has 3 levels of stairs which isn’t that bad.

The property is very unique because it is a renovated 1820s estate. The renovations are excellent except for sound transmission. They could use some more options to fill air gaps. The ground are delightful. Would consider going back again.

Beautiful place for a "staycation". I had an amazing experience!

My sister purchased a gift certificate so that my wife and I could stay at the resort and dine there. When I called to make reservations, I was told that the gift certificate was only good for the restaurant and could not be used for accommodations. I then requested to purchase tickets for the "Chef's Table" event in October 2024. I was told that the tickets for the Chef's Table must be purchased on the resort's website, and the gift certificate cannot be used for that either. When I pointed out that my sister provided a gift so that we could stay at the resort and dine there, I was told that we could arrive early to use the gift certificate for lunch and use it the following day for breakfast/brunch. A most disappointing response. Later, I had an opportunity to look at the gift certificate and there are no restrictions whatsoever listed on it.

Little trouble with TV. Figured it out, the device connecting the remote turned the wrong way

Very clean. Loved the outdoor spaces. Room was super cozy. I could see staying for a few days.

Bathroom was very small but shower was nice.

Beds were lovely ..so peaceful..the beach and gardens were peaceful and the outside pool was great
