"Would stay again but would be prepared that I need to find evening meal. Lovely canal location."

Breakfast was good except for the tomatoes. Room was really comfortable but it didn’t have a reading light, only the main light, staff very friendly

Reading light in room, useable lounge and a dining room, though dinner at dog and doublet was brilliant,

A very tired hotel that needs a bit of love and attention. The courtyard garden was pretty but like the rest of the place needed a tidy up.

Full english breakfast was practically cold when served.

It is a lovely location, very friendly and kind staff. Room very clean.

I think being informed that there is building works ongoing. Lack of signage and information in room? No side tables in room to put things on. Loud annoying fan in bathroom. Breakfast underwhelming no menu or anything to choose from. Mattress very hard.
