Marston Farm Hotel

What a disappointing experience. After checking in we were informed that the restaurant wasn't open. We requested a walk in shower,(my husband is disabled)we had a reply from the hotel confirming this, on arrival we were told there are no walk in showers in any rooms. Breakfast was included in the price but not even continental. The rooms dated and very very cold. There is a step up to the reception which I tripped up. No one about so I had to ring my husband to help me up. I was never asked by the hotel if I was ok. We had had a meal here 50 years ago, and thought it would be nice to go back. So disappointed 😞

Is was very basic, if your looking for a 1970s hotel it be right up street

We had our wedding at this venue and the personal touch and attention to detail was fantastic the staff were very attentive and worked really hard. The food was great value for money. In fact the venue was great value for money. The courtyard was beautiful. We were very fortunate to have a sunny day and be able to take photos.

Breakfast was disappointing limited selection and choice. If it is a continental breakfast then meats and cheese would be an idea.

The beds were very comfy and the breakfast included was adequate for us. We were only staying for 2 nights as going to Drayton manor so was the cheapest hotel in the area.

The room was freezing so we put on the radiator which was stinking because of dust. The windows were all scabby and letting in so much cold from outside. The bath tap continuously leaked from the second we got there to the moment we left. The bath curtain was mouldy and the bathroom was freezing cold and dirty. We only saw the reception staff when we checked in and there was no-one to greet you at breakfast, the girl only showed up once to ask about tea / coffee. Quite a sad looking hotel which is a shame as the area is beautiful.
