Best Western Plus Meridian Inn & Suites, Anaheim-Orange

This was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. We arrived around 2:30am to check in after a long day of travel, only to find out that an employee had completely messed up the reservations. Apparently, another guest had the same last name as us, and the hotel gave our room away to them. Then they turned around and gave us the room that was already occupied by those guests. When we first walked into the room, I thought housekeeping had simply forgotten to clean it because the room smelled disgusting and there was even a condom wrapper left behind. It was absolutely disgusting. Then we realized the people were actually STILL checked into the room. Imagine if we had walked in while they were inside sleeping. Completely unacceptable and honestly a huge safety/privacy issue. I immediately called the front desk because I was furious. To their credit, the employee helping my husband downstairs was extremely apologetic and kind. They ended up canceling our original reservation, creating a completely new booking, upgrading us to a suite, and giving us a discounted rate. I truly appreciated how professional and apologetic he was during the situation because he was the only positive part of this experience. That being said, the hotel itself is very outdated. The suite looked decent at first glance, but the doors were literally falling off the hinges. On top of that, this hotel is EXTREMELY noisy. If you don’t have children, I would honestly avoid staying here. We were woken up around 7am by all the noise throughout the hotel. I understand this is a family hotel near Disneyland, but after this experience, I will never stay here again. We booked this hotel because we wanted something close to our friend’s wedding venue, and it turned out to be a huge mistake.

Que en el desayuno eran las 9:00am y ya no habían cosas del desayuno y se supone que cerraban a las 9:30 y también por otro lado se escuchaba todo lo de las otras habitaciones

Breakfast was pretty good. Staff was friendly.

Was told my room would be cleaned ant the front desk checking in and was never cleaned. I was there for 7 days. There was a weird noise on Monday evening all through the night from about midnight to 7am sounded like water being turned on and off in the same increments and I couldn’t sleep. Was charged parking when told I booked through a third party even though when booking through third party it said parking was included.

The property is missing a alot of maintenance and needs Renovation.... rooms furniture are in terrible conditions and looks dirty
