NOT HAVING TO PAY FOR PARKING WHEN YOU ARE STAYING

Very big rooms comfortable and a quiet location

Staff were very unhelpfull and miserable having to pay $53 per day to have valet parking when the parking lot accross the road had ample space ( but was for members only ) and only costs $20 per night. The rooms were not cleaned to a high standard only the bed made and bins empted and the lighting was poor

It was a very convenient location and most everything was in walking distance less than a mile. The staff was great and their room was clean and cozy!

Unfortunately, there are a lot of homeless people in San Antonio. One specifically stayed camped out below the backside of the hotel against the Riverwalk obviously high on something. Four days he saying loudly and during the night, he would scream all night. So we did not get to enjoy the balcony of our hotel room or the outside pool area without hearing this.

Bathroom made loud noise all day

I’ve stayed here on a previous trip. The neighborhood looks a little downtrodden. I generally love Indigo Hotels. My first night’s stay we got back late after a lovely dinner at Domingo’s. When I took a shower I noticed hairs on the wall of the tiled shower. The Keurig coffee maker didn’t work. There was water running out of the refrigerator in the floor. We changed rooms the next day. I was promised an accommodation for the inconvenience. I asked the young g man at the front desk and he offered me IHG points which I don’t use. I was really put off. Customer service goes a long way. There are other options in San Antonio I would choose. It did have the convenience of location for a Fiesta Art Fair Show I was doing.

The entrance needs updating and cleaning. Walking in you get a feeling of a messy hotel. We were given rooms that the windows would not open and the glass was blurry intentionally so had no view eventhough both booking and hotel site show rooms with views. Location was not good for us as it was a bit further out from center.
