Old fashioned motel with its original ambience preserved, access to a private sand beach is a plus. Otherwise it’s pretty bare bones. There was no free breakfast as mentioned by another reviewer. Probably would stay again but be better prepared with sundries and an extension cord
There was beach access and a place to sit and view Lake Huron and Mackinac Island. The free breakfast was delicious. Very friendly people!
Quite dated and no mini-refrigerator, but the staff was great and the location was convenient. It is not the Radisson, but the value was good and we would stay again.
Big positives about this place is the friendly staff and flexibility in checking in. They definitely excelled in that. Bed was ok and the AC made the room very cold which was nice. The room was ok overall. Definitely fine for the one night spent there but shower was pretty small and seemed like the room just needed some overall renovations. But for the price I can’t really argue
Clean and quiet, front desk lady was very pleasant and helpful!
Check in was good and I appreciated them calling with late check in instructions, but we were told there was no heat but they had turned on an electric heater that had to stay where it was placed and we needed to “work around it.” It was cold even turned up to 80. No hot water in shower. Grabbed a washcloth and it had a wad of dirty hair in it. Beds uncomfortable and both leaned to one side. On the plus side, bedding appeared clean and it was fairly cheap for one night
After going in we noticed there was no refrigerator, microwave. The bathroom was very small but the bed was comfortable. I will not stay here again. You get what you pay for.

Good place to sleep IF ORVING etc. . Older place could use some TLC. But had clean sheets Hot showers.coffee maker mini fridge microwave
It was a place to sleep. Bed was comfy. I was disappointed it didn't have a microwave. I thought I saw one in the pictures. Very old bathroom facilities, but worked. Old style tv, but worked. Nice porch, but very noisy. Thin walls. Could hear tv next door. String hanging from ceiling fan. Could not run fan without light on. Good heater. Old carpet...
