The motel was very cute and clean. The mattress could stand to be upgraded, but all in all we would stay at Pines Motel again.
This Vintage motel was just the "old Michigan" experience we were hoping for. Knotty pine walls, a new shower stall and the deli next door for breakfast made our stay fun and relaxing.
It was very clean and convenient. Our only objection was the bed. It was way too soft.
It was okay for a overnight sleep otherwise I would not stay more than one night
Overall ok. Thought room had a microwave n mini fridge. Nope - was given the one room without. Paper thin walls...no need for TV, can listen to neighbors drama! OK for a cheap motel.
Adequate, basic place to stay the night.
The staff was friendly. There is beach access and a fire ring on Lake Huron - about a 1 block walk. That was our favorite part. It was very affordable. The room was small, and didn’t have a fridge or breakfast offered. I would stay there again but it’s definitely rustic.
Very outdated, but, if just passing through or staying one night, it will do. Very small bathroom. No coffee with coffee maker. Frig, no microwave. Our traveling companions had a microwave, no frig. Very small towels (and rough!)
