Room was very clean. Didn't have a clock, my husband doesn't own a cell phone. Still old school guy.
Perfect for our one night stay. Convenient and reasonable price. Clean. Cabin pine wood rustic feel.
Beach was great
Nice little old style hotel with a great old-fashioned country store next door.
Very basic room but also very clean and comfortable. Shower is tiny but I've stayed here before so it wasn't a surprise. I like supporting local small business owners. Owner Nancy called me the morning of my arrival date and offered me a slightly nicer room since I was staying 4 days (I guess) and that was nice.
No Verizon cell signal at this location, but that can be expected in the UP. Quaint vintage property. Cabin style interior motor court. Knotty pine. Very cute.
Price was right for a place to stay before and after visit to Macinaw Island. Needed some repairs, i.e. broken window blinds, slow draining sink, cracked window. Towels were small and thin.
It brought back memories of the old mom and pop motels of the bygone era.
Really great lake huron access
Staff were present, but not friendly. The room was cute with 2 beds and a small bathroom - they appear to be clean, but very dated and very uncomfortable. The floors didn't have any apparent dirt on them, but the facility did not look clean enough for me to feel comfortable with my 7 month old son crawling on them. Overall, I feel like this is a decent, cheap place to stay, you get what you pay for and maybe a little less here. The listing on expedia was a little dated too, the rooms are not as clean as the pictures made it look and there was no fridge/microwave. You are not right on the lake like the pictures make it seem, but you are very close.
