The room was clean. The internet and tv worked well. The towels were small and rough (could use some fabric softener). No ice machine.
It was economical/ inexpensive compared to all others in the area. It's close to downtown. It was clean. For overnight travel very adequate

Based on earlier reviews, I knew this room would be very basic. I was fine with that. However, I struggled with the fact that there was never anyone in the office when needed, to check in or to exchange dirty towels for clean ones as instructed by the information in the room. The WiFi did not work at all—we were told to connect near the office, then it should work…not so. We were able to see signals from all the other surrounding motels in our room, but nothing from the one we were actually staying at! The beds are old and really uncomfortable. Only two buttons on the TV remote worked, and the picture on the very old TV was fuzzy! I’m fine with basic, but wish I’d spent a little more and gotten more functional lodging.
If you are looking for a 5 star place to stay, this is not for you. However, if you are looking for a place to sleep in between your adventures, this IS the place for you! The rooms are dated and small but we were busy and just needed a place to sleep and shower. The bed was really comfortable, too!The owner and her staff were so friendly, too! Quaint little place and close to all of the activities St. Ignace has to offer!
The WiFi didn’t work well. If you need to stay for a night and don’t need WiFi, then this could be worth it. The bed was comfy, but other than that there’s not much more to compliment this hotel on. There was no microwave but there was a mini fridge in the room. The tv looked like it was at least 15-20 years old.
Amazing private beach behind motel and the lake water was so clear and clean. Next door is the most amazing deli and pizza shop. The deli has every thing you need plus fresh steaks to grill. Just about 45 seconds from the motel is Castle Rock. Only a buck to climb the billion stairs for the most amazing view.
Room was nice. I was not given any directions on wi fi or the continental breakfast. Our air conditioner was in very poor condition. Did not keep the room cool .
