The Russell Nashville

I booked one night for my road trip and loved the design, the thought, the location- everything!! If you are in Nashville and looking for something different and designed - The Russell is your place. Plus, the neighborhood is so cool with things to do (coffee places, restaurants, etc.)

The lobby is so beautiful… would be fun for a photo shoot! The room was super cute, and had great amenities. The Dyson hair dryer, and complimentary snacks were a nice touch. Bed was quite cozy. The lighting and color aesthetic, very pleasing. Bathroom very roomie . I would definitely book again.

One of the best stays I've had in a long time. I was apprehensive at first, given the no on-site front desk staff, but BOY did The Russell think of EVERYTHING to deliver an incredibly thoughtful and high-touch experience, without needing a front desk staff. The lobby is STUNNING. Loads of seating for getting emails answered. A coffee and tea station if you need more than what's in room. A fun photo booth that's FREE. A vending machine for the late night munchies. And my personal favorite, LUGGAGE LOCKERS if you check out but your flight isn't until later that day. SUCH a thoughtful way to ensure guests aren't left lugging their bags around Nashville after check out time. 10/10 Our room was SO CUTE. Loved the color blocking, the remote control lights and shade (we had a skylight room) so you didn't have to get out of bed to open the skylight in the mornings, and all the thoughtful details. Air purifier, DYSON hair dryer (ladies... I mean WHAT?!), robes, and my favorite -- a COMPLEMENTARY box of Nashville snacks, a postcard, coozie, and coupons to a few local eateries, which we used and were DELICIOUS choices by The Russell team. The best part? Your stay is giving back. Their Rooms to Room initiative means supporting the local community experiencing homelessness. I have stayed at many 4- and 5-star properties, but the thoughtfulness of the designed service elements at The Russell surpass some of those that had a full staff.

I will say it was a unique experience with no front desk. We only spent one night there but only saw one other person. Was like we had the place all to ourselves, which was great. Got text messages about everything and had no issues with getting into the building or our room. The room itself was amazing. My wife was on crutches after a surgery and needed to be on the first floor and we loved the room. She had no problems getting in and out of the building with the ADA ramp and it was just an amazing experience. Will definitely stay there again the next time we are in Nashville.

Great spot for a two day get away with our small business group. Great use of space with clean rooms as well as the meeting area. Short walk to restaurant and morning coffee and doughnuts. Would love to bring my wife here for a get away in the future.

The Russell is a super short walk to The Basement East where we saw some music so this was terrifically convenient for us. The church is beautiful and our room, albeit quite small and snug, was quiet. We will stay again when/if we are ever back in the area.

The quiet facility is relaxing. A true sanctuary.

Awesome hotel! Very unique, contactless check in and free parking on site. Hotel is within walking distance of restaurants. This is my 6th time staying. My go to hotel close to everything but far enough away.
