The Russell Nashville

Easy to find, 10 minute drive to downtown. The Russell is beautiful and a neat concept. Room was nice, the bed was super comfortable. The local snacks were a nice touch. Plus you feel like you are giving back. We will be staying there anytime we are in Nashville.

Everything is so simple and clean and lovely. The customer service was very impressive as they were just a text away or a phone call if you needed. The free bottle of wine was a really sweet touch and they have water in the room and a few treats as well. There is a TV in a refrigerator very small but it worked for me and there is a very roomy shower. Highly recommend the Russell. This is my second trip out to the Russell.

The building was unique and interesting

It was an interesting experience: an eclectic hotel in an ex-church — managed from "afar" (remotely, via code numbers, internet communications, etc.)

This was the comfiest bed of our whole trip and close to great restaurants and bars. Very hip neighborhood and the hotel had such good charm and great coffee in the lobby for the morning.

On our recent trip from Little Rock, my son and I decided to break up the drive with an overnight stay in Nashville, and we chose The Russell. What really stood out to me was its boutique feel and the fact that they give back to the community – that felt pretty special. Even before we arrived, the hotel was great with communication, reaching out via text and email with parking instructions and the code, which was helpful since they don't have a concierge. Check-in was smooth and easy. I also appreciated the relaxed atmosphere in the lobby with people just hanging out. The decor of the hotel is really unique and vibrant, with pops of color and interesting artwork. My son and I were excited to get settled in and explore. Our room was just right for the two of us, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The complimentary snacks and drinks were a lovely and welcome addition. The hotel had a really calm and quiet atmosphere, and every staff member we encountered was kind. The little extras, like the photo booth and the complimentary coffee with their branded cups, added to the experience. Overall, our stay at The Russell was wonderful. It felt good to know that our stay was also contributing to something positive.

This is my absolute favorite place to stay in Nashville or anywhere. The Russell is a charming hotel that is locally owned and gives back so much to the community. They respond to issues immediately and truly go above and beyond to ensure everyone has a memorable stay.

Immaculately clean! Such attention to detail! Loved the decor in the lobby & the room. The robes, clothes steamer, hair dryer & mini keurig & the gift basket were a nice touch! The pew headboards with the charging station is so clever. The confessional drapes for the photo booth, phone booth & snack booth (vending machine) is a fun feature. Only had one night to stay here. Wish it was longer to explore more! The recording booth was locked so we assume that is a special feature for musical guests. We were able to walk to a coffee shop & adult arcade. I hope we were able to help share in the helping the homeless people. I hope the memory foam bed remembers me next time we visit! LOL

This hotel was converted from a church so you can see a lot of its past in the design/architecture. The stained glass windows in the lobby are beautiful. Modern and spacious, each room is different in size and color/design. Not far from downtown Nash and in a good neighborhood with food options.
