Neat hotel - a converted church Headboard was a church pew Loved it My wife suggested they need a makeup mirror in the bathroom We will probably stay here again

Good location (5-10 mins driving to downtown) and cool building (looks like renovate the old cathedral) prompt response to text message before/during stay!!

Everything was good except a ticking noise coming from our AC unit. Sounded like a phone vibrating every 5 minutes.

I have been to The Russel before. It’s really unique and beautiful. The only downfall was that I thought the room was going to be bigger. Other wise it’s a really wonderful place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Russell. The lobby was beautiful, welcoming, and a comfortable place to hang out. Our room was cozy, and the bed comfortable. We enjoyed good coffee from the 24 hour coffee machine in the lobby and there are icemaker/cold water dispensers and a microwave on each floor. We were greeted with a basket of made in Nashville treats upon our arrival. The hotels in downtown Nashville were out of our price range and we were happy to find the Russell not too far from downtown. Getting to downtown was easy. Sometimes we walked the whole way, a 30 to 40 minute walk. sometimes we took a rideshare to the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge We’re all the way to our destination in downtown. We appreciated that the Russell has luggage lockers to store your luggage before check in and after check out time, as well as free parking in the lot across the street.

Very unique, clean, and quiet. Comfortable bed, beautiful bath, easy checking in and out. Communication with this property was easy, informative, with quick response time. Great place and Will definitely use again!

A wonderfully unique hotel with a great mission! Communication was by text and staff was responsive. The bed was so soft and comfortable. The rooms had great layout and design and were very clean and stylish. Write down the door codes in case your phone dies!

Unique property with fun decor. Love their mission of giving back to the community. While they do not have an elevator, they have a luggage lift that was very helpful.

Second day. Loved it once again. Some of the rooms have no windows so make sure you inquire about that. Booking online is very convenient and each of the rooms available are listed with photos that are very accurate. The space is beautiful beyond words. The customer service is top-notch. Although you check yourself in with codes, the customer service is available 24 seven by text. Which is very convenient. They will honor late checkouts an early check-in if it’s available. They are dog friendly for service pets. If you are looking for a very simple, clean and convenient place to stay with clean and quiet accommodations, this is 100% worth looking into. They provide coffee and tea and water and even have microwave ovens, etc. vending machine quiet spaces books…

My second time staying here. It’s so unique and wonderful.
