I loved the service. The room was adequate.

There was confusion about my meals. I was told breakfast was included at the reception and when I went to have breakfast I was told it was not included and I could be given a discount. So, I only ate breakfast once there due to the fact that I was told it wasn’t included. However when I went to pay at the end of my stay I was told that my breakfast was free and that I had already paid for everything. So, that was confusing and I ended up skipping breakfasts that I may have already paid for, because The Eatery attendant told me that it was not included and I could get a discount for being a guest. One other thing, I would appreciate it if there were massage showers if possible instead of the one rain fall shower. It’s hard to get cleaned everywhere with the rainfall type of shower. But that would be a great improvement for the future. So, I would like to just know if I did pay to have my breakfasts included or not from the beginning and not be given mixed messages about it that would make me feel uncomfortable to continue to eat there, because I really don’t know what is going on?

I chose this hotel because it is close to the airport. From the moment we checked in, the front desk staff welcomed us very warmly with friendly smiles, making us feel comfortable as if we were at home. The hotel is clean, and every corridor smells pleasant, creating a romantic atmosphere. My room was very clean and well equipped with various amenities. The breakfast was also delicious. On the first day, I found a sambal paru that I really liked, and I was looking forward to having it again at the next breakfast, but unfortunately the menu had already changed 😭 It made me want to stay longer at this hotel, and I will definitely come back again on my next vacation 💓

I had a pleasant stay at Four Points by Sheraton Balikpapan. The room is spacious, clean and located close to Balikpapan airport. The food is delicious and has many varieties of food. The team is very friendly and helpful. Thanks to Fitria and team for the great hospitality. I will definitely come back again and choose this hotel for my next business trip in Balikpapan.

Four points where to start Just a beautiful location only minutes from Balikpapan airport. Hotel transport provided straight to the hotel. First impression on checking in set the standard of excellence. Warm , friendly and efficient. Provided with a beautiful room , clean , large and spacious with a bed you don’t want to ever leave it was comfortable. Lots of storage space, in room safe and a great rain shower bathroom with all your showering needs provided. The pool area was large and quiet but clean and tidy . Recommend highly the breakfast . Fresh cooked omelettes with a vast choice of healthy foods and local deliciousness. Great coffee and great service just a perfect start to your day . Thank you all at Four points for making me fall in love with all things Indonesia a credit to the Marriott brand and your country. Thank you James Rodgers

Had a pleasant stay in Four Point Balikpapan. The entire crews were full of smiles and genuine in welcoming guests. The room was comfortable, no complaints. Will definitely go back to Four Point next time I'm in Balikpapan.

I am a frequent traveler and have experienced hotels all across the world. I must say that hospitality at Four Points Balikpapan is among the best. The staff preempted tiniest of our needs and made us feel at home. The room was spacious, clean, and modern. I would definitely recommend Four Points Balikpapan.

Water from sink, shower, and toilet is dirty brown as pictured. Corridor smells bad, and service is just alright. Unacceptable for a renowned international hotel chain to not even have clean water. Will not stay again.
